Miracles

Around my Mom’s dinner table the other night we were having a terrific discussion about  miracles. Each one of the participants in the dialogue has a different Faith path, but all share Belief. I found the conversation fascinating simply because I believe in Miracles. They happen so frequently in everyday life and if you are paying attention, you will be able to recognize them. That was the basis of our discussion.

Each person commented on the wonder in their own life and how many times God has worked amazing blessings. Through a normal eye some of these events would have seemed impossible but He made them possible. They come in all forms and packages and they are delivered to us at the precise moment they are needed. Then it is time to give thanks, for a blessing has been received.

Some people may say, “Blach! Miracles-smiracles!” They see things as luck, chance, coincidence or self-induced. But, if you really pay attention to all the wonderous events that occur and how they occur and when they occur, if becomes a pretty magnificent thing!

I loved hearing from these other women all of the great wonders in their lives. Even things that seemed hopeless were filled with a full glass. God is good and he provides. It is good to give him thanks.

Have you ever been blessed with a miracle?

Maybe magical thinking is more appealing than logic and critical thought. But that doesn’t make it better.
